What working with us looks like
One person for the whole shipment
You are not passed between departments: the same manager runs the shipment from the quote to the unloading. One chain can involve four or five performers — carrier, warehouse, terminal, broker, insurer; holding them together is our job, not yours.
One contract, one counterparty
You sign one freight forwarding agreement and deal with us across the whole route, including the legs someone else performs. You are not sent off to a company you never signed anything with. What we answer for is in that agreement — read it before you sign.
A rate broken into lines
A rate mixes sums of different kinds: freight, port or terminal handling, storage, brokerage — and, separately, duty and VAT, which go to the state and not to us. We set the quote out line by line: a single number explains nothing and cannot be checked.
The awkward answer up front
If the deadline is unrealistic, if the paperwork for those goods is not there, or if the consignment is not one for us, you hear it at the quote stage. Taking the cargo and working it out en route is cheaper for us and dearer for you.
Bad news at the speed of good news
Delays happen to everyone: a declaration goes for inspection, a sailing moves, a truck sits in a queue at the crossing. The difference is when you find out. We write straight away, with what we are already doing about it, so you can warn your own buyer.
The file stays with you
When a shipment closes you keep copies of everything filed and everything received on it. With those papers it can be reconstructed without us — in an audit, in a dispute with a buyer, or at a different forwarder. We do not hold clients by owning the only file.
